Men's Soccer falls 5-1 at Vassar
POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. –RIT junior midfielder Selorm Dake scored a goal in the Tigers 5-1 loss at Vassar in the regular season finale, Saturday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Vassar took a 3-0 lead on goals from Jared Fisker (20th), Mauricio Mejia (27th) and Duncan Keker (30th).
- Dake scored in the 38th minute to cut the Brewers lead to 3-1. First year forward Roman Mironenko fired shot off the post. The rebound came to Dake who scored into the low corner.
- Joshua Lee scored in the 70th minute and Keker tallied his second in the 76th minute to make it a 5-1 final.
GAME NOTES
- Vassar outshot RIT 23-5
- Senior goalie Jason Trapp made seven saves in net for RIT
- The Tigers had four corner kicks to 10 for the Brewers
