Men's Tennis beats Allegheny, 4-3

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior Joel Pho came back to win his match at third singles to lead the Tigers to a 4-3 win over Allegheny, Wednesday.
 
DOUBLES:

  • The team of first year Yu Tanimoto and sophomore Alec Turcotte came back from a 3-0 deficit to beat Anton Hedlund and Levente Mihaly, 7-5 win at first doubles.
  • Sophomore Luke Weber and senior Christian Berko were 6-4 winners over David Rodriguez and Arick Baldwin at second doubles, and first year Alexander Sinclair teamed up with junior Gabriel Escobar to defeat Will Jarvie and Olivier Erkens, 7-5 at third doubles to clinch to doubles point.

 
SINGLES:

  • Sinclair was a 6-3, 6-1 winner over Baldwin at fifth singles and Weber picked up a 6-1, 6-3 win over Jarvie at sixth singles.
  • Pho dropped the first set against Mihaly but rallied to win the next two sets, 6-4, 6-2 to clinch the match for RIT.
