WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. – The RIT women's track & field team earned 12 points and sits in 10th place out of 55 teams through the first day of the AARTFC Outdoor Track & Field Championships, Wednesday.
WEDNESDAY HIGHLIGHTS
- The 4x100m relay team of Allison Regnante, Caroline Hill, Rania Sabri, and Rachel Kulp qualified for Thursday's final, coming in fourth place in Heat 1 and seventh overall with a program record time of 48.30 seconds.
- Sabri also qualified for the 100m hurdles by placing eighth overall, crossing the finish line in 14.91 seconds.
- Senior thrower Emily DiMarco recorded a distance of 42.80m on the last attempt to take second place in the discus.
