Men's Soccer falls 1-0 at St. John Fisher

PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The RIT men's soccer team lost 1-0 at St. John Fisher in non-conference action, Wednesday.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

  • Jacob McGinnis scored in the seventh minute off an assist from Trevor Heschke to give St. John Fisher the lead
  • First-year forward Roman Mironenko fired two of the Tigers four shots on target in the opening half, including one in the 37th minute
  • Junior midfielder Tate Pottle had a volley from the top of the box in the 69th minute saved by Fisher keeper, Christian Burkhart

  • RIT outshot St. John Fisher 11-10, including six shots on target
  • The Tigers took seven corner kicks to five for the Cardinals
  • Senior goalkeeper Jason Trapp made four saves for the Tigers
