Berty lands Liberty League weekly honors
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT first year swimmer Josh Berty was named the Liberty League Men's Swimming & Diving Rookie of the week announced by the league on Monday.
Berty won a pair of individual events to lead the Tigers to a 178-122 win at Ithaca, Saturday. He won the 1,000 freestyle in a time of 9:47.91 and was first in the 500 freestyle finishing in a time of 4:44.60.
RIT returns to action on Friday (Dec. 6) at the Don Richards Invitational.
