Men's and Women's Swimming and Diving named CSCAA Scholar All-America Teams

ROCHESTER, NY – The RIT men's and women's swimming and diving teams were selected to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America Team for the Fall 2024 semester.

The CSCAA Scholar All-America committee selected the teams based on their cumulative fall semester grade-point averages. RIT's women's program recorded a 3.59 team GPA, while the men finished with a 3.50 team GPA

In order to qualify for the honor, a team must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher, while also maintaining a roster of at least 12 student-athletes.

The CSCAA named 781 teams from 459 institutions this past fall. The teams were selected on the basis of their Fall 2024 grade point averages and represent 19,209 student-athletes.  
 
The women finished the regular season with a 4-5 record in dual meets, while the men, ranked No. 21 in Division III, finished the regular season with an 8-1 record. The Tigers are back in action on Saturday (Feb. 8) at the Geneca Diving Invitational at Ithaca College.
