CORTLAND, N.Y. – The RIT men's track & field team tied for 23rd out of 44 teams after the final day of competition at the 2024 Atlantic Region Outdoor Championships, Thursday.
Rowan took the top spot with 115.5 points, ahead of Geneseo (66) and Carnegie Mellon (59.5) in the top-three. RIT finished with 13 points.
- Junior Max Stein earned fourth-place in the 400 hurdles, clocking a 53.17 finish
- The 4x400 relay team consisting of sophomores Ryan Senf, Josh Bedford, Michael Sardo and first-year Jack DeFeo, finished in fifth at 3:16.57
- Senior Andrew Bernacki placed fifth in the javelin with a 56.15m throw
- The 4x100 relay team of first-year Tucker Haluszczak, Stein, Sardo and junior Jonathan Jacobs finished ninth, clocking a time of 42.35
- Sophomore Derick Koen placed 10th in the 5,000 (14:59.98)
- Senf placed 10th in the 400, finishing in 48.77
