Men's Track & Field finishes third at Liberty League Outdoor Championships
TROY, N.Y. – The RIT men's track & field placed third out of eight teams at the Liberty League Outdoor Championships, hosted by RPI, Saturday.
RIT finished with 121.5 points behind RPI (308.5) and Rochester (213).
- The 4x400 relay team of sophomore Ryan Senf, junior Max Stein, sophomore Michael Sardo and first-year Jack DeFeo took first (3:17.17).
- Stein also won the 400 hurdles (53.20) while DeFeo placed third in the 400 (49.56)
- First-year Erich Brown placed third in the high jump with a height of 1.85m
- First-year Jacen Mitchell finished third in both the 110 hurdles (15.29) and the 400 hurdles (56.77)
- Sophomore Josh Bedford finished third in the 800 (1:55.79).
- First-year Keenan Gosselin placed third in the decathlon with 5,525 points.
- Senior Andrew Bernacki placed second in the javelin with a throw of 57.73m, followed by Gosselin in third (55.80m) and junior Jason Mohr in fourth (55.77m)
