Koen competes at NCAA DIII Championships
CARLISLE, P.A. – RIT sophomore Derick Koen finished 197 out of 294 runners at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships, Saturday, at Big Spring High School in Carlisle, P.A.
Competing as an individual after
for his 11th–place finish at the Niagara Regionals, the runner from Rochester, N.Y. finished the eight-kilometer course in 26:18.0.
Wisconsin-La Crosse's Ethan Gregg won the overall individual title with a time of 24:02.4, while Pomona-Pitzer took the team title with 158 points.
