GENESEO, N.Y. – The RIT Men's Cross Country team completed the regular season at Geneseo's Mike Woods Invitational, Saturday. Sophomore Dale Janezic led the Tigers with a 279th place finish with an 8k time of 27:57.8.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- RIT first-years Casey Atkinson and Sean Obermayer finished 299th (28: 09.5) and 344th (28:38.8) respectively. Sophomore Branden McColm was right behind at 345th (28:39.7)
- First-year Nathan Merlo came in 360th overall and was the fifth Tiger to cross the finish line with a time of 28:53.8.
- The Tigers placed 28th out of 33 teams with 897 points. The hosts, Geneseo, won with 41 points. RPI took second place (54) as Carnegie Mellon placed third (80).

RIT is off next week as they prepare for the Liberty League Championships, held at St. Lawrence on Saturday, Nov. 2.
