Updated bag policy announced for home hockey contests
ROCHESTER, N.Y. - An updated bag policy has been announced for home men's and women's hockey games at the Gene Polisseni Center for the 2025-26 season.
Permitted Bags
- Clear bags not exceeding 12" x 6" x 12"
- Small purses or clutches not exceeding 4.5" x 6.5"
- Clear, one-gallon freezer bags
Prohibited Bags
- Backpacks
- Luggage
- Tote bags
- Computer bags or cases
- Camera bags
- Binocular bags
- Oversized purses, clutches, or fanny packs
Exceptions
Medical equipment bags, medical supply bags, and diaper bags are permitted but will be subject to inspection by on-site security.
Security Screening
- All bags are subject to inspection upon entry.
- Guests may be asked to remove large items (e.g., blankets, jackets) from bags for further screening.
- Bags that do not comply with the policy will not be allowed into the venue.
- Non-compliant bags must be returned to your vehicle or stored in a rented locker.
- Security reserves the right to deny entry to anyone carrying a non-compliant bag or refusing inspection.
