ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT women's soccer team visits Skidmore in the Liberty League first-round, Tuesday at 5:00 p.m.
HOW THEY GOT HERE
- The No. 5-seeded Tigers finished the regular season at 8-5-4 overall and 4-3-2 in Liberty League play.
SERIES HISTORY
- RIT tied the Thoroughbreds, 2-2, in Saratoga Springs on Friday, Oct. 18th.
- The Tigers are 10-5-3 all-time against Skidmore. In the last two regular season meetings, both games ended in a draw.
- In their last postseason clash, RIT earned a 2-0 first-round win at home against the Thoroughbreds on Nov. 2, 2021.
SEASON STATS
- Junior forward Elena Onodera and senior midfielder Olivia Harris led RIT in scoring with both players finding the back of the net seven times this season.
- Onodera also leads the team in total points with 21 (7 goals, 7 assists) as Harris is second with 19 points (7 goals, 5 assists).
- Junior goalkeeper Emily Sanchez has started all 17 games for RIT this season, posting a record of 7-4-2. Sanchez has two shutouts to go along with a .724 saves percentage.
- Senior defender Amber Flynn has played 1,447 minutes this season to help anchor the Tigers' backline. Flynn has played the full 90 minutes in all but three games this year.
