Women’s Track & Field posts solid results at tune-up meets

PITTSFORD, N.Y.  – The RIT women's track & field team competed Nazareth's and Penn State's Tune-Up meets in preparation for next weekend's Liberty League Championships.
 
At Nazareth, senior sprinter Caroline Hill finished second in the 400m with regional qualifying time of 1:00.18.
 
Field athletes Violet Ameele was second in the triple jump (10.74m) as thrower Marinna Heichberger placed second in the shot put (12.26m).  
 
At Penn State, Emily DiMarco finished fifth in the shot put with a distance of 12.33m while hurdlers Rania Sabri and Allison Regnante placed fifth and eighth respectively in the 60m hurdles.
