Join the Community, Belonging and Diversity Education team (Aubrey, Mei and Taj) as they share the impact of the events, programs, trainings and workshops they hosted or facilitated this year. It is also an opportunity for students, staff and faculty to offer feedback for events and programming that will take place next academic year.

The Center for Teaching and Learning’s third annual Summer Institute will take place May 14-16, 2025. The theme of this year’s conference is “Creativity and Innovation” in teaching and learning. Faculty can look forward to engaging workshops, panels, guest speakers and presentations across four main tracks:

Opportunity to learn tips that minimize bias and create a welcoming atmosphere by using effective practices throughout the hiring process. The training is best for faculty positions and Assistant Director or higher staff positions. If hiring for entry level positions, you can complete the LinkedIn Unconscious Bias in Recruiting and Interviewing training. 

RIT President Dave Munson is retiring in June 2025 after serving the university for eight years. Faculty and staff are invited to attend a special farewell reception in his honor — along with his wife, Nancy.
