College of Liberal Arts Wildcard Wednesday Series: Careers, Connections & Curveballs

Join us to pursue small meaningful projects that will benefit local underserved and reentry populations.

In this workshop, students will learn to identify the signs of imposter syndrome, understand how it can impact academic and career confidence, and identify strategies for resilience.

University Council (UC) brings together representatives from the three governance groups of the university: Faculty Senate, Staff Council and Student Government. The president, provost, vice presidents, and deans are also represented on the Council, which addresses university-level policies and facilitates communication among the constituents of the university. UC develops and reviews institutional priorities and acts as a forum through which current or continuing issues of higher education can be discussed. Meetings are held monthly and are attended by members of all 3 governance groups, deans, and administrators. RIT students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Interpreters provided.

Join us for a poetry open mic exploring the experiences of women and nonbinary students! Participate in a writing exercise and share poetry that centers around the joys and challenges of gender identity in an intersectional, empowering space.

Join us at the University Gallery for our Creative Wellness Series, presented by ARA Creative Wellness. Access your inner wisdom through creative expression, creating an oracular guidance card through collage. Move through guided meditation and intuitive art making, opening the portal to deeper understanding and connection to inner resources and external support. Class includes materials, facilitation, refreshments, and access to take home resources.
