Catholic Newman Community Ash Wednesday Distribution of Ashes

University Council (UC) brings together representatives from the three governance groups of the university: Faculty Senate, Staff Council and Student Government.  The president, provost, vice presidents, and deans are also represented on the Council, which addresses university-level policies and facilitates communication among the constituents of the university. UC develops and reviews institutional priorities and acts as a forum through which current or continuing issues of higher education can be discussed. Meetings are held monthly and are attended by members of all 3 governance groups, deans, and administrators. RIT students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend. Interpreters provided. Join the Newman Catholic Community at RIT for Eucharistic adoration before the 5:30 p.m. Wednesday Mass in Allen Chapel. Adoration is a great way to take a break from the busy life of college and to sit in His presence.

Join Lisa Rizzo, Behavioral Health Consultant and Kelly Read, Registered Dietitian from the Student Health Center to learn more about how food affects mood and well-being! Light refreshments will be available.

Mix and mingle with representatives from MOOG and WE@RIT (Women in Engineering) over mocktails and charcuterie.  This event will be far less formal than the career fair (come as you are), and appropriate to attend whether co-op or full-time eligible or just wanting to practice networking in a low-stakes environment over light snacks.  Deaf/Hard of Hearing Students needing ASL interpretation should submit an Access Services Request.
