Want to just share what's going on in your department or program regarding cultural heritage research and projects? This is the community to build that in Brick City. Join us! We begin our series on Friday, September 6, 2024. We meet every other Friday from September 6 through November 15, 2024 in either the Liberal Arts Building room1251 (McKenzie Commons)-- or Carlson room 2240. HisStory: Cultural Exploration and Personal Empowerment
This semi-structured group invites men of color (MOC) to explore personal development as an adjunct to their academic pursuits. Students will explore personal and cultural history, evaluate and restructure belief systems, and pursue personal power. This is a safe space where students are welcomed and encouraged to explore issues of race, ethnicity, gender, and cultural trauma.
