Opportunity to learn tips that minimize bias and create a welcoming atmosphere by using effective practices throughout the hiring process. The training is best for faculty positions and Assistant Director or higher staff positions. If hiring for entry level positions, you can complete the LinkedIn Unconscious Bias in Recruiting and Interviewing training. 

This semi-structured group invites men of color (MOC) to explore personal development as an adjunct to their academic pursuits. Students will explore personal and cultural history, evaluate and restructure belief systems, and pursue personal power. This is a safe space where students are welcomed and encouraged to explore issues of race, ethnicity, gender, and cultural trauma.

The RIT community is invited to engage in First Friday, Rochester's monthly city-wide gallery night that encourages collaboration between art venues. A free bus shuttle will transport interested students, faculty and staff from campus to downtown, and back, on three dates during the fall semester: Sept. 6, Oct. 4, and Nov. 1.

Erev Shabbat on Friday night, marking the beginning of the Jewish rest day. We come together to worship and enjoy community through food, either dinner or sweets, building community.
