Men’s and Women’s divers competitive through first day of NCAA Diving Regionals

ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior Gellert Kish and sophomore Luke Albanese sit in third and fourth place for the men's team as Sophomores Maddie Williams and Gwen Petrie are fifth and sixth on the women's side through the first day of the NCAA Division III Diving Regionals.

Kish recorded a score of 543.05 at the 3m board as Albanase recorded a total of 526.60.

Sophomore Maddie Williams sits in fifth place in the women's competition with a score of 404.65 at the 1m board as fellow sophomore McKenna Porter is sixth with 392.05 points.

Gwen Petrie scored 383.35 points to sit in eighth place and Taylor Stanley is 19th overall with 339.05 points.

Saturday's session will see the men compete in the 1m height with the women competing at the 3m height.

The top six men and top seven women will earn bids to the NCAA Division III National Championships.
