PITTSFORD, N.Y. – The RIT women's track & field team competed at Nazareth's D3 Elite Meet as some participated at Cornell's Kane Invitational.
At Nazareth, first-year sprinter/jumper Rachel Kulp finished second in the 60m sprints with a regional qualifying time of 8.03 seconds. In the prelims, Kulp posted the fastest time of 8.00 seconds which is a career best.
Senior sprinter Caroline Hill placed second in the 200m with a regional qualifying time of 25.96 seconds. Hill, along with Samantha Crisci, Jorja DeCarlo, and Justine Draper took first place in the 4x400m Relay with a time of 4:05.45, which is also a regional qualifying time.
Senior thrower Emily DiMarco placed second and fifth respectively in the Shot Put and Weight Throw events.
At Cornell, junior Abby Nautel and first-year Daniella Malanga were fifth and sixth in the 800m as the duo each recorded regional qualifying times of 2:28.36 and 2:30.38.
