May 12 - BUSH SELECTED TO ATTEND NCAA WOMEN COACHES ACADEMY
RIT Assistant Track & Field Coach Kendra Bush was selected to attend the 2025 NCAA Women Coaches Academy (WCA), May 18-21, in Denver, Colo. Hosted in collaboration with the NCAA, the academies offer experiences focused on leadership development and personal growth for women coaches from all sports and collegiate levels.

May 9, 2025 - VOLKMANN TO RECEIVE 25-YEAR AWARD FROM COLLEGE SPORTS COMMUNICATORS 
College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced that RIT Director of Athletic Communications Tim Volkmann will receive a 25-Year Award during this summer's CSC Unite convention in Orlando, in recognition for his long-time committment to the athletic communications profession.

May 6, 2025 - GRACE SELECTED IN THIRD ROUND OF 2025 PLL DRAFT
Former RIT Men's Lacrosse standout Michael Grace was selected in the 2025 Premier Lacrosse League College Draft. Grace was taken with the sixth pick of the third round (22nd overall) by the New York Atlas.

RIT Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach Emily Hawryschuk recently led the USA Box Lacrosse Team to a championship at the inaugural World Lacrosse Women's Championship.

Sept. 20, 2024 - SPIOTTI INDUCTED INTO BROCKPORT HALL OF HERITAGE
Former RIT Executive Director of Athletics Lou Spiotti recently received the Alumni Award in Brockport's Hall of Heritage on September 20th. Spiotti served as the Athletic Director at RIT for 47 years, retiring in June of 2021.

Sept. 14, 2024 - GRACE AND COMMANDANT SELECTED IN 2024 NLL ENTRY DRAFT
Former RIT Men's Lacrosse standouts Michael Grace and Caleb Commandant were selected in the 2024 National Lacrosse League Entry Draft. Grace was taken third overall by the Georgia Swarm while Commandant was taken 80th by the Rochester Knighthawks.
