ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT senior forward Josiah Turner and graduate student guard Matt Caggiano were named to the United States Basketball Writers Association Area (USBWA) Rochester Area Division II-III Teams on Wednesday.
Turner received a spot on the First Team after averaging a career and team-high 12.8 points per game for the Tigers this past season. The forward also led RIT with 6.7 rebounds per game.
Caggiano earned Honorable Mention with his scoring average of 10.4 points per game. The graduate student led the Tigers with a career-best 5.4 assists per game. Caggiano completed a standout career with RIT, scoring 963 career points, 26th most in program history.
