Bear named AHA Best Defensive Forward

ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT senior forward Jordyn Bear was named the Atlantic Hockey America Best Defensive Forward announced by the league Wednesday.
 
Bear played in 37 games tallying a career-high 10 points and eight goals, recording her first career hat trick in a win over Lindenwood (Dec. 6). Bear finished eighth in the AHA winning 267 face-offs and was tied for third in the conference with two short-handed goals. She finished sixth on the team with 37 blocked shots.
