Two Tigers land Liberty League weekly honors

ROCHESTER, N.Y. - Two RIT student-athletes were honored by the Liberty League with weekly accolades announced by the league on Monday. Junior Alex Zborowski was named the Men's Lacrosse Defensive Performer of the Week and first year Ryan Bullock was the Rookie of the Week.

Zborowski recorded a 2-0 record, a 9.33 goals-against average and a .548 save percentage to help lead RIT to a pair of NCAA Tournament wins. He made five saves and allowed one goal in 30 minutes of action in the Tigers 20-3 win over Ohio Northern in Saturday's second-round game. Zborowski made 12 saves, including four in the fourth quarter in RIT's 17-13 win over St. John Fisher in Sunday's third-round game.

Bullock recorded four points on a goal and four assists to help RIT to a pair of NCAA Tournament wins. He had an assist and a ground ball in the Tiger's 20-3 win over Ohio Northern in Saturday's second-round game. Bullock had a goal and two assists in RIT's 17-13 win over St. John Fisher in Sunday's third-round game.
