ROCHESTER, N.Y. - RIT senior defensewoman Kyla Bear was named the Atlantic Hockey America Defender of the Month for February announced by the league, Tuesday.
Bear tallied seven points on four goals and three assists in February. The senior defender was the AHA Defender of the Week Feb. 10 after scoring three goals, including the game-winner in OT in a sweep at Lindenwood (Feb. 7-8). Bear had a goal and an assist against Penn State (Feb. 14-15) and had two assists against Penn State in the AHA Semifinals (Feb. 28-March 1).
