Matt Thomas introduced as new Men's Hockey Coach
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT introduced Matt Thomas as the eighth Head Men's Hockey Coach in program history during a press conference hosted in the Gene Polisseni Center Club Lounge, Thursday morning.
"It's a great day for RIT Athletics and for our storied men's hockey program," commented Executive Director of Athletics Jacqueline Nicholson. "Today we welcome a new leader who will continue to build on our proud tradition of excellence and community."
Members of the media, staff, administrators, alumni and players were in attendance and heard comments from Nicholson, RIT Senior Vice President for Student Affairs Sandy Johnson and Thomas, who also answered questions from those in attendance.
