ROCHESTER, N.Y. - The RIT women's basketball team hosts St. Lawrence in the quarterfinals of the Liberty League Tournament, Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
HOW THEY GOT HERE
- The No. 4-seeded Tigers finished the regular season at 14-11 overall and 12-6 in Liberty League play.
- St. Lawrence is the five-seed in the tournament, having finished the season 10-8 in the Liberty League and 16-9 overall.
SERIES HISTORY
- This season, RIT split their two games against the Saints. The Tigers came up with a 68-60 win over St. Lawrence at home on Jan. 25 before falling on the road to the Saints, 55-52, just two weeks later.
- The Tigers are 13-35 all-time against St. Lawrence.
- In two previous postseason meetings, St. Lawrence have come out on top. The teams last met in the postseason in the 2019-20 season. The first meeting came in the 2013-14 tournament when RIT fell to the top-seeded Saints in the semifinals.
SEASON STATS
- First-year guard Caroline Henderson leads RIT with 13.4 points per game this season. Through 25 games, Henderson is shooting 39.4 percent from the field and a league-best 43.3 percent from three-point range.
- Sophomore guard Maddy Ramsgard is also scoring in double figures with 11.0 points per game while leading the team in assists.
- Senior forward Faye Kaplinski has a team-best 22 blocked shots to go along with 8.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.
- As a team, RIT is scoring 63.4 points per contest which is third most in the Liberty League this season.

- The winner of this game advances to the semifinals and will travel to take on top-seed Ithaca this coming Friday (Feb. 28).
