ROCHESTER, N.Y. – RIT sophomore defender Katherine Killian was named a 2025 USA Lacrosse Honorable Mention Division III Preseason All-American announced Wednesday (Feb. 6).
Killian was a First Team All-Liberty League selection last season. She was the first defender in program history to be a first team all-league selection. Killian led RIT and was third in the Liberty League with 86 draw controls and was tied for second in the conference with 42 ground balls. An IWLCA Division III First Team All-Empire Region selection, Killian caused a team-high 25 turnovers which was tied for sixth in the league.
RIT begins its 2025 season on Wednesday (Feb. 19) at Oswego at 4:00 p.m.
