Three Tigers named CSC Academic All-District At-Large
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Three RIT student-athletes were recently named to the 2025 Academic All-District At-Large team, as selected by College Sports Communicators (CSC).
Senior women's lacrosse player Lily DePalma and two wrestlers – senior Michael Glynn II and junior Josh Harkless – and were recognized for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom and will receive further consideration for Academic All-America status.
DePalma led the Tigers and tied for fifth in the Liberty League with a career-high 72 points while finishing third in the conference with a career-high 55 goals. Voted First-Team Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) All-Empire Region as well as First Team All-Liberty League, the 2025 team captain ended her RIT career 11th in program history with 129 points and 12th with 98 goals. A three-time Liberty League All-Academic selection, DePalma graduated with a 4.0 grade point average majoring in biology and minoring in psychology.
Capping his wrestling career with his second-consecutive All-America honor following an 8th-place finish at 149 pounds during the NCAA Division III Championships, Glynn finished the season with a 26-5 record (10-0 in dual meets) for a 105-35 career mark to become only the ninth Tiger in program history to eclipse the 100-win plateau. The 2025 State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) Wrestling Scholar-Athlete of the Year and four-time National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-American, Glynn graduated in May with a 4.0 in mechanical engineering.
Harkless also punctuated the season with his second-straight All-America finish after placing third at 285 pounds at the NCAA Division III Championships. Completing the winter with a 32-1 record, including a team-high 22 pins and an undefeated 11-0 dual meet mark, he was named the Co-SUNYAC Wrestler of the Year after also winning titles at the NCAA Region 2 and SUNYAC Championship meets. A mechanical engineering major with a 3.84 GPA, the three-time NWCA Scholar All-American will return next season with a 95-20 record.
The CSC Academic All-District program recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field of competition and in the classroom, while the at-large division recognizes individuals from sports not part of their own standalone division within the program. To be considered, nominees had to have achieved at least a sophomore standing and a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade point average while playing a prominent role on the field of competition.
