MEN'S HOCKEY
RIT fell to Bowling Green, 2-1, in overtime on Saturday at the Blue Cross Arena.
Junior forward Simon Isabelle put the Tigers in the lead in the second period but were unable to hang on to get the win in front of the Brick City Homecoming and Family Weekend sell-out crowd of 10,566.
First-year goalie Jakub Krbecek made 43 saves, the most for an RIT first-year goaltender since the 2010-2011 season.
RIT hosts Colgate next Friday and Saturday (Oct. 25-26) in its first two games at the Gene Polisseni Center of the season.

WOMEN'S SOCCER
The Tigers were on the road last week, earning a 2-2 draw at No. 18 Skidmore and a 2-1 win at RPI.
Against the nationally-ranked Thoroughbreds junior forward Elena Onodera scoredboth goals for RIT, finding the back of the net in the 19th and 35th minutes.
Senior forward Rachel Marriott scored the game winner for the Tigers against RPI, her fifth goal of the season.

RIT split their two games last week, falling 1-0 to Skidmore on Friday and winning 1-0 against RPI on Saturday.
Junior midfielder Selorm Dake scored his first goal of the season in the 39th minute against the Engineers to give RIT the win.

WOMEN'S VOLLEYBALL
RIT dropped a pair of matches at Clarkson on Saturday. The Tigers fell to the host Golden Knights, 3-0 (25-18, 25-21, 25-14) in Liberty League action before coming up short against Rochester, 3-1 (25-13, 23-25, 26-24, 25-22).
Sophomore outside hitter Mia Gerber totaled a team-high 11 kills to go along with five digs in the loss to Clarkson.
In the Rochester match, Senior outside hitter Catherine Vento had a team-high nine kills.
RIT hosts Liberty League-rival William Smith on Wednesday (Oct. 23) at 6:00 p.m. On Saturday (Oct. 26), the Tigers travel to face Keystone and Lancaster Bible.

RIT cruised past Alfred, 223-77, in their home-opening meet on Friday.
Senior Drew Scheib swam a leg in the 200 Medley and Freestyle Relays while also securing first-place in the 100 Backstroke. Senior Mike Atanasoff earned wins in the 50 and 100 Freestyle, as classmate Ben Sippel won the 100 Breaststroke.

RIT defeated Alfred 215-71 in the home opening meet on Friday.
The Tigers won seven events as sophomore Rose LaDue placed second in the 100 Backstroke and also swimming legs in both the 200 Medley and 200 Freestyle Relays.

The RIT women's rowing participated in the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta, Sunday.
The Tigers' competed in the collegiate fours race, finishing 17th out of 39 boats with a time of 20:21.033. The boat was comprised of coxswain Claire Schwenke, Jessica Hall, Mikaela Simpkinson, Sarah Polek, and Ellen Shephard.
RIT will take part in the Challenge on the Canal, hosted by Hobart and William Smith, this Saturday (Oct. 26).
