Women’s Swimming & Diving falls to Geneseo, 213-140

GENESEO, N.Y.  – The RIT women's swimming and diving team fell at Geneseo in a dual meet, 213-140, Saturday.
 
Divers Gwen Petrie and Maddi Williams placed first and second place in the 3M Diving event with scores of 457.55 and 446.35, respectively.
 
Petrie also won at the 1M height with a score of 453.05 with teammates McKenna Porter placing second (438.15) and Williams, third (418.60).
 
Anna Peshenko won the 200 Breaststroke with a time of 2:19.89, which is a season-best for the senior. Peshenko also took second in the 100 Breaststroke with another season-best time of 1:05.29.
 
Other winners included Rose LaDue in the 100 Backstroke (58.68) and Anna Beahan in the 200 Freestyle (1:57.57).
 
WHAT'S NEXT
The Tigers return home next Saturday (Feb. 1) when the team hosts William Smith for Senior Day.
