Women’s Track & Field throwers highlight first day at AARTFC Meet
ITHACA, N.Y. – Senior thrower Emily DiMarco led the RIT women's track & field team at the first day of the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships, Friday.
HIGHLIGHTS
- DiMarco earned the Tigers four points in the Shot Put with a distance of 12.51m on the first attempt. Junior Marinna Heichberger placed ninth in the event with a throw of 12.08m.
- Sprinter Rachel Kulp ran the 60m in 7.92 seconds to take 12th place overall. The time is just three hundredths of a second off Kulp's program record that was set at last week's conference meet.
- The 4x400 relay team of Samantha Crisci, Jorja DeCarlo, Justine Draper, and Caroline Hill placed ninth with a season-best 4:04.92.
