Cross Country teams earn USTFCCCA academic honors

Teams were recognized for accumulating at least a 3.1 cumulative grade point average, while individuals were honored for maintaining at least a 3.3 GPA and finishing in the top-25 percent of their respective NCAA Regional Championships.
The RIT women were one of 236 teams in the country recognized after compiling a 3.76 team grade point average, while the men were among 193 honored teams after totaling a 3.52 GPA.
After receiving an at-large bid, Gilbert finished 98th at the NCAA Division III Women's Cross Country Championship last fall. Cobos finished 17th at the Niagara Region Championships, followed by Danieu in 35th and Georgia in 37th. Koen also received an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship last fall and finished in 197th place. Owens placed 34th at the Niagara Region Championships.
